CHILDREN IN CARE

About Us

Who We Are

Since 2003, we’ve been dedicated to serving those in greatest need in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe. Driven by our faith, we provide a safe launchpad for vulnerable children - transforming lives from rescue to leadership and strengthening a nation from the ground up.

Love in Action

Our Mission

To love and serve those in greatest need in Bulawayo, providing an integrated, sustainable path for vulnerable children to reach places of significance and influence. We act as both a safe stepping stone and a powerful launchpad, equipping the next generation to shape the future of Zimbabwe.

What We Do

Our Key Programs

Isaiah’s Homes of Love

We care for abandoned babies and children with nowhere else to go - providing love, stability, and protection in their earliest, most critical years. We work tirelessly to place each child into a permanent, loving family - through adoption, fostering, or reunification. Since 2007, over 170 children have been given a second chance at life.

Hearts of Love

For families facing extreme hardship, we provide more than just relief - we offer a path forward. From daily meals through our soup kitchen to skills training, health support, and community outreach, we help people move from survival to self-sufficiency - rebuilding hope along the way.

Children of Grace

Through sustainable farming - including vegetables and soon poultry - this initiative provides food for our communities while generating income to support our programs.
It also equips individuals with practical agricultural skills, empowering them to earn a living in one of Zimbabwe’s most vital industries.

Lighthouse Christian Academy

We give children who have fallen behind a second chance to learn, grow, and thrive.

Through personalised education, life skills, mentorship, and emotional support, we help them catch up and confidently re-enter school, college, or vocational training - opening the door to a brighter future.

Success Story

Blessing’s Journey

Blessing was adopted at 3 years old into a loving, Christian family from the Isaiah's Homes of Love. His family has kept in touch with us over the years, and his mom remains a core member of our support group.

Blessing is a bright, jovial teenage boy who loves hanging out with his youth group at church. He is also the treasurer of his youth group. He has dreams of being a pastor who can also fix electrical gadgets. Recently, Blessing was given an opportunity to share at his church.

“You are not funding an organisation. You are family to a child who has none.”
